The CDPBC is an organization for all pet bird enthusiasts. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, with one or a hundred feathered friends, we all have something very special in common -- our love for these wonderful and spectacular animals!
The club meets on the second Saturday of each month at 2:00 PM -- usually at an area library. The locations rotate, depending on availability. Meetings generally include a featured speaker or program on a topic of interest to pet bird lovers. You can check out our calendar for details about upcoming gatherings.
In addition to being a great place to find out what's going on with the club, this website contains a wealth of information on pet birds. One of the most important features here is the section dedicated to bird rescue and adoption. Clubs, humane societies and rescues the world over are inundated with birds which, for any number of reasons, find themselves in need of a new home. The CDPBC's bird rescue is no exception. If you are considering buying or adopting a pet bird, we encourage you to check out the resources on this site. If you can offer a safe, happy and healthy forever home to a rescued bird, our club may be just the place for you to find one!
